Following a meeting with the Minister of Agriculture in January 2012, CENESTA and PPB farmers welcomed a visit of the Deputy Minister for Cereal Production to PPB (Participatory Plant Breeding) farmer fields in Garmsar in June 2012. The principal wheat breeder of the Dryland Agriculture Research Institute, Dr. Reza Haghparast, also attended and explained the scientific foundations of PPB.
