Cenesta experts have been facilitating the establishment of the Chabahar Baluch IP/LC Community Based organization (CBO) in order for them to become a legal person. This CBO will also empower them for participating in the multi-stakeholder planning process of CSR related activities of the petrochemical industry.
In order to establish the Chabahar CBO, numerous meetings and workshops were held. The main output of this activities so far are:
1. Selection of the establishing board of the CBO including 13 individuals from local trustees and elders;
2. Elaboration of the draft statute of Chabahar CBO.
When the statute is approved by the representatives of IPs/LCs, the CBO can be registered and officially start its work.
