Happy World Sea Turtle Day!
Local indigenous fisherfolks in Hormuz Island, Iran, carefully releasing an endangered green turtle (Chelonia mydas) caught in their fishing gear (April, 2014).
Indigenous peoples and local communities are the chief users and guardians of the world’s ecosystems. Over generations, they have used their traditional knowledge to manage natural resources, conserve ecosystems and species, and adapt to environmental changes.
This image was recently published in the United Nation’s Convention on Biological Diversity’s book on the contribution of Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities (IPs/LCs) to the implementation of Aichi Biodiversity Targets 2011-2020.

۱۶ ژوئن (۲۶ خرداد) روز جهانی لاکپشت های دریایی مبارک.

رهاسازی لاکپشت سبز به دام افتاده در تور توسط ماهیگیران بومی جزیره هرمز در خلیج فارس

جوامع بومی و محلی مهمترین حافظان و بهره برداران منابع طبیعی و اکوسیستمهای زمین هستند. طی نسل ها، آنها از دانش بومی خود برای مدیریت منابع طبیعی، حفاظت از اکوسیستم ها و گونه ها و سازگاری با تغییرات محیط زیست بهره برده اند.

این تصویر به تازگی در یکی از نشریات کنوانسیون تنوع زیستی سازمان ملل با موضوع نقش جوامع بومی و محلی در دستیابی به اهداف ۲۰گانه آیچی به چاپ رسیده است.

🛑 خدیجه کاترین رضوی، مدیرعامل موسسه توسعه پایدار و محیط زیست (سنستا) 🔸🔸 ۷۰ درصد غذای دنیا را کشاورزی خرد تولید میکند. نگهداری از بذرهای بومی و بالابردن تنوع زیستی زراعی در مزارع کشاورزان راه حل پایدار برای تامین غذای مردم دنیا است. 🔸🔸 محصولات دستکاری شده ژنتیکی توسط بسیاری‌از کشورها کشت نمیشود، در منطقه خودمان کشورهایی از جمله ترکیه، عربستان، روسیه و رژیم صهیونیستی این ممنوعیت‌های کامل یا محدودیت‌های شدیدی برای کشت و واردات محصولات تراژنه ایجاد کردند. به عنوان یک ایرانی از خودم سوال می‌کنم حالا که کشورهای زیادی مانند سوئیس کشت و مصرف این محصولات را ممنوع می‌کنند چرا کشور‌ ایران باید اینگونه سراسیمه و با سرعت به دنبال کشت و تولید این محصولات در کشور باشد؟ 🔸🔸 به اعتقاد من باید در حال حاضر فقط تحقیقات داشته باشیم و برای کشت و واردات دست نگه داریم، تا در آینده براساس اطلاعات و نتایج تحقیقات خودمان به جمع بندی درستی برسیم که چه تصمیمی باید برای آینده اتخاذ کنیم. 🔸🔸عدم استفاده از سم در روند تولید محصولات تراریخته یک دروغ بزرگ است. برای این تولید این محصولات نیز از سم استفاده می‌شود. سالم بودن این محصولات هنوز مشخص نشده و مطالعات زیادی در دنیا وجود دارد که نشان می‌دهد استفاده ازین محصولات میتواند برای انسان مشکلات سلامتی ایجاد کند. اینجا به عنوان یک شهروند از وزارت بهداشت انتظار دارم تا تحقیقات مناسب و درخوری روی این محصولات در کشور ایران انجام دهد و نتایج آن را در اختیار عموم مردم قرار دهد. 🔸🔸 در حال حاضر جامعه اروپا در حال بررسی باقیمانده سم گلایفسیت در بدن و خون انسان است. 🔸🔸 تحقیقات در رابطه با محصولات دستکاری شده زنتیکی داخل کشور باید کامل شفاف باشد، برای من قابل قبول نیست یک گروه کوچک برای غذای کشور و سفره غذایی من تصمیم بگیرند و شفافیت لازم را برای ارائه نتایج حاصل ‌از تحقیقات در اختیارمان قرار ندهند.

✔️پروفسور محمد تقی فرور، رئیس موسسه توسعه پایدار و محیط زیست به نمایندگی از پروفسور میشل پمبر، استاد دانشگاه و رئیس پژوهشکده اگرواکولوژی دانشگاه کاونتری بریتانیا در نشست هم‌اندیشی نقش اگرواکولوژی در دستیابی به حاکمیت غذایی و امنیت غذایی پایدار گفت: ♦️🌱♦️اگرواکولوژی امری است در راستای تامین اهداف حاکمیت غذایی و در این جهت است که حقوق مردم در دسترسی به منابع خود یعنی زمین، آب، بذر و قلمروهایشان به رسمیت شناخته می‌شود. این روش یعنی اگرواکولوژی معتقد است که باید به روش‌های محلی و دانش‌های محلی تکیه کرد تا بتوان به حاکمیت و امنیت غذایی دست‌ یافت♦🌱♦️ 🌱🌱باید یک جابه‌جایی عظیم در نظام تولیدی ایجاد کرد. یعنی محصولات به صورت محلی تولید و مصرف گردند. 🌱🌱اگرواکولوژی باعث افزایش محصولات غذایی و همچنین قابلیت دسترسی به محصولات غذایی می‌شود لذا امنیت و حاکمیت غذایی را نیز تامین می‌کند.
